Full-Height PCIe Bracket for Emulex LPe16002B
thingiverse
XMBomb's full-height PCI Express bracket installed seamlessly in another box, allowing me to reuse it for the LSI card without redesigning anything when I needed a full-height bracket for the Emulex LPe16002B fibre channel HBAs that required installation. I've tested this bracket on Dell part number 0HD2MG (also labeled as assembly number P007784-20A Rev.A). Be aware that there is no free space around the ports on the finished product; ensure you remove the SFP+ modules before installing this bracket. The factory screws work, but if you don't have those, a pair of 6mm M2.5 screws will function just as well. First test-fit was performed in an ASRock H110M-ITX motherboard mounted inside a Thermaltake Core V1 case; second test-fit was done in a Dell PowerEdge R740xd. I printed these with the outside surface facing up, and didn't fully clean off the support material before test-fitting the part, resulting in a bunch of shmoo on it in the photos. Print settings reflect this; I'm sure these aren't the only settings that will work. I've used PLA parts in Dell PowerEdge C6220 II chassis before. Those things dump an absolute ton of heat: the rear doors of the server cabinets that house those C6220s reach 70° C when they're under full load, and the brackets I've printed have held up perfectly over the past 18 months. I have absolutely no reservations using PLA brackets for these HBAs.
