That sounds spot on! I reckon we've got ANOTHER awesome opportunity for the LCD display and SD card reader. ;) I've always wanted to craft one of these for myself, specially customized for my SmartrapCore 3D printer. It's a total no-brainer : just a front casing with two holes on either side that fit perfectly into the wooden box inside - easy peasy! Now, I'm sure this will work with almost any printer case out there. The way it's designed allows you to tilt it at your convenience, whatever height your printer is installed (mine's pretty low, so I tilted mine quite a bit). You'll get two buttons and even an exclamation mark engraved on the emergency stop button to keep things crystal clear! In the STL file, with the case itself, you've also got the virtual electronic board - you can use this as a template to design (yet another) custom device...
