Cradle for Full Graphic Smart Controller Case Available at Thingiverse Link The majority of mounting solutions I investigated were engineered for a permanent attachment of the controller housing to the frame, which was not ideal for my needs since I required effortless removal and installation capabilities. My proposed cradle design rectifies this shortcoming by firmly fastening it to the frame while still allowing users to freely remove the controller when desired. This solution is specifically tailored for the Prusa i3 Rework from Replikeo; however, it can also be adapted for similar 3D printers featuring a 3mm-thick frame due to its modular design which involves simply clamping over the top of the frame using the provided cradle components. The model was created with Slic3r. Parameters used were layer thickness set at 0.2 mm, a 30% honeycomb infill structure, and a 3mm-wide brim. It is crucial to enable support material during the printing process for the left bracket portion of this cradle assembly. Two M3 bolts are utilized along with two corresponding nuts to securely fasten both components to the top of the printer's frame.
