** This 3D zoetrope shows arbitrary 20x5 pixel full color bitmap. ** ** You need ** * ESP32 microcomputer (normal Arduino is not compatible because multi thread programming is used) * 120mm PC fan (Zoetrope is not mechanically coupled but driven by the air flow) * 20cm (12 pixels) WS2812B Neopixel serial LED array (60 pixels / m) * Rohm RPR-220 reflective photosensor * paints **Update Dec. 13, 2021** : Actually, the rotor (main rotating part) is driven by ** not axial but rotating (twisting) airflow** from the PC fan. Therefore, I have added an another rotor (rotor2.stl) that has not propeller-shaped but vertical vanes. I also added a zip file (for-small-printers.zip) that has divided inner and outer rotors. Please divide the outer rotor into two or four parts that fit to your printer's building table. **Update Dec. 18, 2021** : To suppress the staggering of rotor, I have added "tight-axis.stl". it reduces the tolerance around the axis to reduce the undemanded motion of the rotor. If the axis is too tight, please adjust the size of the axis part by slightly changing the size of it with your slicer. I also added nap-clock.ino which acquires current time via WiFi and ntp.
