//UPDATE// 25MAR2022 I added a new version of the ATAK_MOLLE. This one is a little beefier where it needs to be. Print either versions, whatever works best for you. //UPDATE// So if you're unfamiliar with ATAK a quick Google search will serve you well. This is my interpretation of what is being currently used in the military. This unit comes in three parts. You have the MOLLE plate that attaches to MOLLE webbing. Next is the phone carrier, I made this carrier to be as universal as possible so the phones with cases or without cases, big phone small phones, and some smaller tablets, everything should generally fit. The small holes in the phone case are for you to use elastic thread or banding and that'll hold the phone in place ( see my post-processing notes in regards to how to secure your phone to the carrier). Finally there is the compass GPS board. Play around with your slicer settings that will make or break these prints. I'm not a slicing master so I'm sure I could have done better and the prints would have come out looking even more awesome. I didn't experiment with other filaments so something like PLA+ might perform better in the long run versus generic PLA. Creating a small elastic loop in your MOLLE webbing it's necessary to use in conjunction with the hook like tab that's on top of the phone case. This will keep everything nice and secure without flopping open. In conclusion, the fit and finish of these prints are up to you, the end user. Everybody's printers different, everybody's going to use different filament, so things might be a tight fit or they might be a loose fit. Again review the post-processing notes.
