10 Feb 2013: BOM 1400mm 6mm sq CF tube (wing) 1400mm 3mm CF tube (wing) 1 length 5mm CF rod (tie down rods) 1 length 4mm CF tube (push rods) 1 length 1.5mm steel rod (pushrods) 1 roll - heat shrink adhesive film 1 roll 3M hinge tape 3 sheets of 1mm - 1.5mm balsa 2x 15mm 6 gauge screws 4x 30mm 8 gauge screws Wheels - 45mm dia x 2, 20mm dia x1 1300mAhr battery Motor and prop options as per instructions 1x 4 channel RF receiver 1 sheet, 3mm foam board (tail section) Supa glue and hot melt glue gun / sticks 2 or 4x 5g servos - tail plus alierons 24 Nov - New wing parts uploaded for a 6 / 13 degree poly wing option (200mm chord version only) along with updated instructions. 21 Nov - 200mm chord wing, left and right wing tips added, instructions updated. 20 Nov - Lighter version of the 15 degree wing joiner uploaded, trainer width aileron also updated. 19 Nov - Major crash on SKU, lost a week's solid work unfortunately. Awaiting advice re replacement parts in Australia for my Bot, progressing slower than desired. I have uploaded new files and parts I've tested, look forward to completing this version as soon as possible, including new instructions and parts list. Two wing designs included: one with 150mm chord, the second 200mm (both in Clark Y profile) for lower landing speed. Both are 1400 mm long in polyhedral configuration. Parts included for dihedrural wing if desired for both variants. Both wing sets have been loaded as zip files. Current tie down brackets and wing mount suit only the 150mm version of the wing. 09 Nov - After flight trials, unable to extend hybrid version while maintaining same flight characteristics on full ABS model. Easy fix, marked this version work in progress. Redesigning longer version: 1300mm wing span, 1300mAhr battery, larger motor to suit. Rudder and tail fin... minor refinement during fitting process. 05 Nov - Updated wing profile loaded with joiners and wing mounts, increased lift, slightly longer chord, still within required ratios for current stabiliser and tail fin. Not tested yet, but if built inside next week, please let me know how it goes. Recommended OAL wing length 850-950mm. Adjusted rear wing mount bracket to follow, which will be at slightly closer centers than current version. Zip file added for new wing parts. Also added standard length tail section (opposed to short tail version in zip file) as well... fuselage length with this component approx 68mm longer (called tail section V3). Modifications to ABS / PS foam hybrid plane to restore static balance and update build details.
