FujiFilm X-Mount Rear Lens Cap
thingiverse
I bought some lens adapters for my old M42 and Olympus manual primes when I picked up a bunch of rear lens caps for Fuji X-Mount lenses. Rather than pay Fuji's ridiculous prices or buy a 3rd party set off eBay, I thought I'd spin up a replacement in OpenSCAD and try printing them. They are based on similar dimensions to the official caps, with grip notches designed to give it similar ergonomics to the injection molded original. I've included the OpenSCAD script in case you wish to make any changes - the STL and default values in the script are for most normal lenses and adapters, but if you have a lens that has elements extending past the mount then you may wish to increase the internal_depth value. The text on the front is configurable, in case you want a personalized design. I printed them with my Prusa i3 Mk2 using Rigid.Ink PLA (1.75mm) and Slic3r (Prusa edition). Because of the angled inner lugs and acute front face edges, you probably want to do this at as fine layer height as possible. I found rectilinear grid supports worked best for me. Make sure to rotate the model 180deg (flat face down) for printing.
