I initially thought I'd design two of the battery holders to carry my 4 extra batteries. Then I decided to integrate them into a single unit. Then I looked in my camera bag and one thing led to another and I now have this custom holder. It should hold 4 batteries, the popup flash, and 3 SD cards (and now the vertical grip). I encountered some issues with the supports Slic3r was generating so I created my own. The filler that's in the hot-shoe can be easily removed, but it might take some prying. Fortunately, mine didn't require any effort and fit the flash perfectly. UPDATE: I designed a new version with 6 sd card slots. UPDATE #2: I was getting frustrated with trying to jam this back into my bag next to the VG-XT1 battery grip. So I pulled out the calipers and redesigned this addon. It took a couple of tries to get the fit just right, but it should slide smoothly into the sd slots. The grip fits snugly, but the rubber is lifting on mine so that might be why. I suggest printing with supports for the sd card tabs, they popped out pretty easily.
