The Fort of San Diego is visible in the present day's photogrammetry. This construction dates back to 1783, as the first fort built in 1613 had collapsed due to an earthquake that hit the port of Acapulco in 1776. The reconstruction took several years, during which a different layout was designed, consisting of a pentagon with five stars visible in the image. Also, the wall forming a moat and the suspended bridge can be seen, through which access is now gained to the Historical Museum of Acapulco today.
