The monument to the Marquis of Sacred Field, known as the Fountain of Catalan Genius, is a monumental fountain in neoclassical style, with sculptures, located on the square of the Palace of Barcelona. It is dedicated to the memory of Francisco Bernaldo de Quirós and Mariño de Lobera (1763-1837), Marquis of Sacred Field, for bringing the city's waters from the Sierra Moncada in 1826 when he was Captain General of Catalonia.
