Located at the heart of this square, it is a remarkable archaeological piece that gives its name. It is believed to have originated from the ruins of the historic city of Cástulo, which is a very plausible supposition, as it is known that in the 16th century certain lords of Baeza possessed samples of the same origin. Its transfer must have taken place at the beginning of the 16th century. The Fountain forms a square pillar with penetrating curves on the corners; water flows out through the mouths of four worn-out lions with curly manes and double incised collars. In the center, a column rises up, and on top of it, an interesting female figure stands, which according to tradition represents Imilce, Aníbal's wife. She wears a long tunic that molds her right leg, slightly bent.
