Fuel3D Target 1

Fuel3D Target 1

thingiverse

This is a scanner target I designed in Solidworks to use with the Handyscan Fuel3D scanner. The design features a magnet installed in the bottom that will allow it to stick securely to metallic objects. The idea is to offer an object to help in aligning scans of large near symmetric objects, which can be difficult without recognizable features. Proper stitching of individual scans may become possible if this target provides sufficient reference points. I haven't printed out the design yet because I'm still trying to get my new RepRap Prusa I3X printer working properly. To determine its feasibility for use as intended, I plan on making more of these targets and running tests. Printer Settings: - Printer Brand: RepRap - Printer: Prusa I3X - Rafts: Doesn't Matter - Supports: Doesn't Matter - Notes: Anyone willing to test print and provide feedback is highly appreciated.
