I encountered issues with my fuel gauge that refused to display the correct fuel level, so I made the decision to pull out a fuel tank and disassemble the meter altogether. Upon inspection, I discovered that the fuel tank float was leaking, which prompted me to design and 3D print a new one from PLA plastic. It performed flawlessly for an entire year until I sold my first motorcycle.
