Fuel Dock Tractor Griffet - Airforce - PTT -SNCF Freight Port in 1950's The Fuel Dock Tractor Griffet is a rugged, three-wheeled vehicle powered by a robust four-cylinder fuel engine from the iconic Peugeot 203. This impressive machine was built to serve in various capacities across France. Used extensively for service at French airports and military bases, the Griffet also worked tirelessly on the railways of SNCF, delivering luggage and cargo to waiting passengers. The Post Ptt La Poste and freight ports were also frequent stops for this hardworking vehicle. Today, a few rare survivors can be spotted in touristic railways and museums across France, offering a glimpse into the past. Griffet's expertise extends beyond fuel dock tractors, as they also built impressive truck cranes - more on that later! Sized to perfection for O scale 1/43, an HO model is in the works. With some creative tuning of my Geeetech A10 and Ender 3, I managed to print a slice of the DEMO file at 50% size, ideal for an HO scale model. The only tweak needed was gluing on the steering wheel. This design is perfect for beginners looking to create their first model.
