Gearbox for FTC Tetrix / AndyMark motors: Slow down your motor speed by 9:1. This gearbox needs a few components, including three 6-32 x 1" screws, one Tetrix motor hub, small screws to attach it to any motor you want, three standard Tetrix nuts, and one 6200ZZ bearing (get it for $1.49 at vxb.com). Next, attach the mountBottom piece to your Tetrix or Andymark motor using three 6-32 x 1" screws. Slide the shaft piece over the motor shaft. Put a bearing into the cam piece. Now push the bearing/cam assembly onto the shaft piece. Mount the ringAndHubMount piece on top of a Tetrix motor hub, then remove its set screw. Place the ringAndHubMount piece over the cam piece. Finally, place the mountTop piece on top of everything and secure it by attaching the mountBottom and mountTop pieces together with screws.
