This is a low cost measuring cube for FIRST Tech Challenge, brought to you by Team 19589, Falcons Robotics from Ridgeline High School in Liberty Lake, WA. Materials needed: - 3D Printer and about half a spool of filament. Print: - (4) corner bracket flat edge - (4) corner brackets - (8) mid brackets - (2) handles - (2) team labels - (1) each of the two hole drilling alignment tools - (5) sheets of 1/8" thick 18"x18" clear acrylic - M4 x 12mm flathead screws - M4 nylock lock nuts - M4 drill bit (you can laser cut holes if you prefer) - countersink bit - helpful to have a 14mm OD x 4mm ID bearing to use in the alignment tools to guide your drill bit. Good project for students to print and assemble. Included are .stl files for printing, or for those who want to modify, the original SolidWorks CAD files.
