An Octocanum drivetrain that was designed for the FIRST Tech Challenge Power Play (2022-2023) game season by 12791 Iterative Intentions.It uses a base parallel plate mecanum drivetrain with four additional traction wheels that can be deployed to switch from holonomic to tank capabilities. This enables the robot to have enhanced traction and acceleration from the traction wheels while maintaining the holonomic drive and agility from the mecanum wheels.
