FTC Landscape Carrier Hub - Cougar Bots 14867

Last year our team designed a carrier, known as Toaster, for our bot. This year we redesigned it to work seamlessly with the goBILDA Strafer Chassis, introducing Toaster 2.0! We made sure this design can be printed without supports, but some minor supports will be necessary for the phone slot. Fortunately, the inside cavities won't require any supports. Here are all the parts that this carrier hub is designed to work with: * goBILDA Strafer Chassis - https://www.gobilda.com/strafer-chassis-kit/ * REV Robotics Expansion Hub - http://www.revrobotics.com/rev-31-1153/ * REV Robotics 12VDC Slim Battery - http://www.revrobotics.com/rev-31-1302/ * REV Robotics Power Switch - http://www.revrobotics.com/rev-31-1387/ * Motorola G4 Play - https://tinyurl.com/y4mmgceb You will also need the following hardware to mount this carrier to the Strafer Chassis and the Expansion hubs to the carrier: * Qty 1 Pack (100/pack) - McMaster-Carr M4 x 0.7 mm Thread, 14 mm Long Bolt (91290A150) - https://www.mcmaster.com/91290A150 * Qty 1 Pack (5/pack) - McMaster-Carr M4 x 0.7 mm Thread, 35 mm Long Bolt (91290A173) - https://www.mcmaster.com/91290a173 * Qty 1 Pack (5/pack) - McMaster-Carr M4 x 0.7 mm Thread, 40 mm Long Bolt (91290A174) - https://www.mcmaster.com/91290a174 * Qty 1 Pack (25/pack) - McMaster-Carr M4 x 0.7 mm Thread, 55 mm Long Bolt (91290A187) - https://www.mcmaster.com/91290a187 * Qty 1 Pack (10/pack) - McMaster-Carr M4 x 0.7 mm Thread, 70 mm Long Bolt (91290A190) - https://www.mcmaster.com/91290a190 * Qty 1 Pack (25/pack) - goBILDA M4 x 0.7mm, 7mm Hex Nylon-Insert Locknut - https://www.gobilda.com/2812-series-zinc-plated-steel-nylon-insert-locknut-m4-x-0-7mm-7mm-hex-25-pack/ To attach the carrier hub to the goBILDA Strafer Chassis, you will need two 40mm & 35mm long bolts and one 14mm long bolt. To attach the Expansion Hubs, you will need seven 70mm long bolts and one 55mm long bolt. Everything should fit perfectly without any modification, but you may want to use some padding between the phone and the carrier slot to prevent the phone from sliding out. The phone can be flipped around to have the camera pointing out to use during gameplay. There are two square ports built into this carrier so the phone can be connected to an Expansion hub while the cable can be stored in the cavity below the power button. This was designed to work with a cable purchased from Amazon (https://tinyurl.com/y5jnw2hj). The label for the power button can be printed with different colors by doing a filament swap at various layer heights. Leave a comment if you have any suggestions to make this better! Have a great season, FTC teams! ~ Courtesy of the FTC Cougar Bots 14867 ~
