FTC Driver Station Board
thingiverse
For FTC teams seeking an easier way to organize controllers and phones on a convenient carry board, similar to those used by FRC teams, I created a custom solution. The two controller stands are specifically designed for Xbox 360 wired controllers. A small box in the top-left corner provides a designated space for a USB hub, while a side input/output connection allows it to be linked through the top-middle phone holder. The sides of the phone compartment feature two extrusions where you can wrap controller cords. Notably, our team's binary code (8956) is embossed on the front panel, adding a touch of personalization to the board. To create this design, I used a binary code translator app from the Google Play store. If an entire 3D-printed dashboard isn't your preference, I'm also offering individual components for our team's use on a piece of acrylic and zip-tied together.
