This drive base utilizes a robust 20:1 gearbox courtesy of AndyMark, which was thoroughly tested and utilized on our 2017-18 Worlds robot. The result is a fast-moving robot that remains remarkably lightweight. Impressively, it functioned flawlessly on a 40-pound robot. Note: Be sure to apply loctite to all screws and bolts used in the assembly to prevent potential issues down the line.
