Once printed, take a soldering iron to a hot temperature and press the tip directly into the center of the threaded nut, as seen in the photos. Gently press until the nut begins to slide into the wheel. Once flush, stop pressing but maintain heat for a few more seconds to allow material to flow into the knurled edges of the nut. Let it cool completely or submerge it in cold water before using. When reinstalling, place the alum nut face down on the printer. For added stability, consider inserting a flat washer between the wheel and the bed.
