A angled bracket and faceplate mounts a full graphic smart controller on the FolgerTech FT-5, making it easier to use the device at any angle. Tilted at 30 degrees, this design improves usability and screen readability when placed on a low table or in other situations. Two M4 screws or bolts are required to connect the faceplate to the bracket; these will tap directly into the bracket without nuts. An optional M4 bolt and t-nut can be used to attach the upper faceplate ear to the frame for added stability, reusing the existing M5 bolts and t-nuts from the factory LCD mount is an option. The faceplate has cutouts that allow the piezo speaker, contrast adjustment pot, and LCD pins to sit flush with the device. A guard prevents accidental activation of the emergency stop button. All STL files have been repaired, oriented, and are ready for printing. This design can also be used on other 2020 extrusion framed printers.
