A family friend remodeled Xeno's Ft-5 fan shroud with sleeker lines and added space in the Y direction to keep it away from my heater block. The original design put it too close for comfort, so they cut out the middle vent and created a new one further back. To print this design without supports, you'll need to rotate it 90 degrees. Unfortunately, I had trouble with bridging in the middle due to a faulty part cooling fan. This redesigned shroud is made for a 40mm box fan and features M3 screw holes throughout. A huge shoutout goes to mmontminy for suggesting channels be added to this design, which significantly improved bridging in the middle and evenly distributed air flow. I've also uploaded a mirrored version for users with MK10 or similar hot ends that offset in the opposite direction. I finally took the time to create a proper attachment system for this fan shroud. Gone are the days of sticking it on with double-sided tape – that was just a temporary fix. Instead, it now attaches securely to the frame bolts above the stepper mounting screws. There's even a cutout to clear the stepper screws, so you won't need to use a Dremel like I did. Please note that this design has undergone significant edits from a .STEP file, which means there's no real edit history in Fusion 360.
