Recovered from Point Washington, Walton County, FL. This artifact dates back to the time period between AD 900 and 1500. It is classified as part of the Fort Walton culture, specifically within the Mississippian Period. The artifact contains inclusions or temper made of sand. It is now a part of the Florida Type Collection at the Ceramic Technology Laboratory within the Florida Museum of Natural History.
