FT style biplane accessories
thingiverse
Landing gear gets attached to the front of my self-designed foam board biplane by simply gluing it to the underside, then I'm good to go. The landing gear is also bent down slightly away from a perfect 90-degree angle on purpose, allowing for a bit of spring. I've also built some wheel pants - purely for fun, as every wheel deserves its own pair of pants! These are designed for a 2-inch wheel and can be easily attached by gluing the pant to the side of the landing gear and using a one-inch 4-40 machine screw as an axle. For the motor mount, I chose a nose-down orientation to minimize support needs. No screw holes were included to keep options open for other motors - just be careful when drilling out your own holes and make sure they're precise.
