30/03/2020: The original design has been upgraded by making the hinges on the centre plate thicker and more robust. The prints have been optimally repositioned for ideal printing results. A streamlined version is now available as an alternative option. Early 2019: This is V2 of my landing gear, designed specifically for the FT Simple Cub, inspired by the Timber gear. You will need to use some 4mm bolts for the wheels, and optionally 3mm or 4mm bolts plus washers for the hinges, setting the wall thickness to 2mm allows enough space for these to be drilled out to 4mm. Add rubber bands as necessary. Further versions will be added once the weather improves, enabling thorough testing to destruction. Happy flying.
