FT (Flite Test) Mighty Mini Arrow Center Pod and Hatch Cover

A 3D-printable version of the center pod and hatch cover for the Mini Arrow is now available at Flite Test:http://store.flitetest.com/ft-mighty-mini-arrow/. Printers can print the center pod with one or two shells and a 10% fill, making it significantly lighter than its foam counterpart. Thinner walls allow for wider battery use (up to 35mm) without redesigning the plane's power system. The back side of the pod is designed to fit standard internal width stock power pods perfectly. Two small knobs provide friction points for the foam pod and lock into printable power pods found on Thingiverse:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1096211. Printers can also create a flexible hatch cover that wraps around the plane as a mini skid guard, secured with Velcro at the back or taped closed. The stock foam hatch cover still works well for those who prefer it.
