FT Dart power pod
thingiverse
UPDATE 3/21/18: I re-examined the measurements in both the original PDF plans and F360, discovering that the perimeter was slightly shorter than it should be. I have replaced the original STL and GCODE files with a newer v2 model featuring corrected dimensions. I would like to extend my gratitude to [jhitesma](https://www.thingiverse.com/jhitesma/) for their valuable feedback. UPDATE 3/20/18: It has been pointed out that the interior diameter of the piece may be too small, preventing the foam pod from being inserted properly, as discussed in a comment ([see here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2828661/#comment-1816444)). This issue could be due to variations in printers or software, but scaling the print slightly should provide the correct interior diameter. If you experience the same problem, please let me know so I can update accordingly. I will continue researching this and make any necessary updates. Printable power pods for the FT Dart from Flitetest are available here. I wanted to replicate the plywood firewalls included with the speed build kit. These designs are based on plans by [Dan Sponholz](https://www.thingiverse.com/SP0NZ/about). To prevent damage to wires run through them, I've rounded the edges of the holes slightly. If you find the dimensions incorrect or have any suggestions for improvement, please let me know and I will update accordingly.
