FT Dart Motor Pod
thingiverse
**3/21/2018** - I uploaded a v2 version. The original design fits and works perfectly, but was slightly longer than necessary and had thicker side walls like FT's ply version, which made it strong when printed, even with thinner walls to save weight. So this version is about 5 mm shorter and the sidewalls are 0.1 mm thinner. Printable motor pod for the Flite Test FT-Dart. I tried the version shared by @JGPlanes earlier here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2828661, but found the dimensions were slightly off. Rather than waiting for him to make changes, I created my own design. I printed this in Taulman 910 Nylon for strength and light weight since Nylon is less dense than PLA, ABS or PETG, and weighs less for the same print in those materials. However, while 910 usually doesn't warp for me, this design is prone to warping. I tried printing with a brim to prevent it, but the corners still pulled up slightly. PLA would be less prone to warping, but may not hold up as well in a crash.
