FT Dart Engine Pods
cults3d
Update 5/15/18: The latest iteration of these pods is engineered to be as lightweight as possible, robust and optimized for thrust line performance. By elevating the motor position by about half an inch, the plane tracks more smoothly under higher throttle settings. For optimal performance, use "engine pod -7 m and p" in your slicer and mirror the models for the other side. Update 5/1/18: A two-piece pod design has been added to facilitate easier removal of the motor from the plane. Flite Test Dart model airplane engine pods require mirroring the pod for the second side. Due to high temperatures generated by the engines, it's recommended not to use PLA. Instead, PETG is used in this initial production run.
