Designed this to remote mount my Yaesu FT-891 HF radio controls. I have a 2018 Nissan Titan and the only place to mount was a "flat" ridge above the CD player. Turns out there is a curve. The goal was to attach the mount without drilling holes in the vehicle. I planned to use 3M VHB tape to fasten to this area knowing that with some patience I should be able to peel it off or leave for the next owner to use as a cell phone holder. This was designed in TurboCad 2020 Premium and printed with Markforged Onyx One printer with their proprietary Onyx material (nylon mixed with chopped carbon fibers). I used the Markforged Eiger web slicer to create a file for my printer. The design is provided as-is, allowing anyone to adapt to their printers, materials and vehicle type. I truly enjoyed designing this (4 iterations) and it really cleaned up my installation.
