I noticed that the X-axis belts tend to vibrate excessively, resulting in varied textures on printed items. This issue stemmed from misaligned idler bearings on the X axis due to unbalanced belt forces, causing the belt to ride along the pulley's edge and produce vibrations. To rectify this problem, I created a jig to adjust the idler bearings to be perfectly perpendicular. The second challenge arose from the belt's natural frequency causing it to vibrate uncontrollably. To mitigate this, I designed a tab that dampens the vibration. Although it may have inadvertently doubled the frequency, the belt vibrates significantly less and produces a smoother finish on printed items. To secure the Bearing Clamp A, I utilized an M3 insert, but you can opt for a nut instead, simply enlarging the hole to accommodate any screw size.
