FT-5 Vibration Dampener

FT-5 Vibration Dampener

Yet another Dampener I've designed, one that stays centered while printing. The others would often veer off course, so I built this one to prevent that issue. I had to create two versions because I only had enough M3 and M4 T-nuts in the correct sizes to get the job done. I sourced rubber golf balls from Amazon for this project, and you can find them here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZZPJMCC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 11-22-16 Update: I added a 1-bolt version to the design. 3-12-17 Update: I also included an M5 version in the mix. 10-21-17 Important Note: When printing this Dampener, you may notice some movement in your printer. Rest assured, this is by design and serves to absorb X and Y inertia without causing any harm or damage to your printer. Print Settings: Printer: Folger Tech FT-5 Rafts: None Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 40% Post-Printing Instructions: After printing, file the 2020 slot slightly to ensure a snug fit.
