FT-5 RJ45 Breakout Board & Wiring Upgrade

To start off I would like to point out that your printer needs to be modified in order to make use of the STL files included here. If this presents a problem for you, I have made available the drawing files and fusion archive so you can modify the part instead. UPDATE 10/21: Due to popular request I have uploaded new versions of this including an offset single port version, and a centered dual port version. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify that the offset version clears the stepper, although that is my intent. Please let me know if it needs any adjustments. The dual port version has not been offset so you will still need to remove the FT9 plate that mounts on the stepper with this mod. All new versions of this include a second mounting point to the carriage. You will require longer M3 screws to accommodate for this. Assembly will necessitate: -1 printed breakout board mount -4 M3x8 screws -2 M3x40 screws -2 M3x45 screws (For new parts with 2 mounting points) -1 Stock Hot End Carriage -1 RJ45 breakout board: http://a.co/d/8XHbeOA -6 cable chain links Optional components: -1 large cable clip -1 small cable clip -6mm OR 8mm spiral wrap First off, let's talk about the part here. On my quest to rewire my FT5, I decided to mount the breakout board on top of the Hot End Carriage. Problem was, the only other mount for a single port breakout was not designed correctly for a stock printer. Thus I bring you my own take on it. The reason this part is so tall is to accommodate for the heater wire terminal block. I prefer to tuck mine underneath. This board mount features 3mm standoffs designed to fit tightly around M3 screws. Nuts will not be needed because of this. To mount this to your printer, make use of the top 2 screws and nylocks for your carriage. Cable clips cannot be used without obtaining larger screws (I forget the stock size, you will need at least 5mm longer).
