FT-5 OptiCooler for Titan Aero
cults3d
Upon request, I've updated my previous Folgertech FT-5 Opticooler remix to fit a Titan Aero hotend with V6 block. Thanks again to printingotb for his original OptiCooler design. The fan bracket mounts directly to the extruder stepper itself on the bottom two screws. To do this, simply remove the existing screws and replace them with 5mm longer screws - you may need a washer or two in the process. I recommend printing the arms out of PETG or ABS due to their proximity to the heater block, but they are easily removable and replaceable. This setup runs two 5015 radial fans wired together. For more information on this configuration, check out the original OptiCooler design. To keep them in line, I used zip-ties to secure them together. Note: To get optimal results, adjust your nozzles down as close to the bottom of the nozzle as possible without interfering with the print.
