FT-5 OptiCooler for 713Maker Ultralight and Stock Hotend
cults3d
I'm reworking a printer setup based on printingotb's OptiCooler design, specifically tailored for the Folger Tech FT-5. Currently, I'm running the 713Maker Ultralight carrier paired with the stock MK9 hotend; however, it may also be compatible with the Titan Aero extruder. The fan bracket attaches to the extruder stepper on the lower two screws. Remove these and replace them with longer 5mm screws - you might need a washer or two for this step. For optimal performance, I suggest printing the arms using PETG or ABS due to their proximity to the heater block. This setup utilizes two 5015 radial fans connected together; check the original file for more information on wiring and other details. To keep them aligned, I used zip ties to secure them. Note: Lower the nozzles as close as possible to the bottom of the nozzle without obstructing print quality.
