I was fed up with wrestling with the timing belt on the FT-5 carriage, so I came up with a solution. This was a clever combination of my previous designs. It should work seamlessly with the other stock carriage parts, but I would suggest downloading those parts from my other designs instead - they significantly outperform the standard wood components. Version 2.5 is specifically designed for users who have upgraded to a 10 X 15 cable chain, just like I did. This updated design allows you to hit the X axis home switch before engaging with the cable chain.
