I've always struggled with keeping the Y axis cable chain from tangling with the carriage during homing procedures, a problem that persisted even after switching to a larger cable chain. Other printers had similar solutions online, but I couldn't find one tailored to the FT-5, so I took matters into my own hands and sketched out a custom fix. When I 3D printed it using S3D, I scaled up the Z dimension to 200mm for added stability. This simple clip now keeps the cable train neatly secured within its channel, safely out of harm's way from the carriage's path. It may not be a work of art, but it gets the job done efficiently.
