FT-5 AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER (Magnetic)
thingiverse
Hello friends! I've been working tirelessly on an automatic tool changer design for quite some time now, and I'm confident it's ready for others to build upon and improve or even turn into a DIY project. As we move forward, I'll be adding comprehensive information and engaging video tutorials that cover the installation, calibration, Marlin settings, tool changing scripts, tool wipe, and more. It's a vast amount of data that will undoubtedly benefit from being presented in a clear and concise tutorial format. It's crucial to note: your 3D printer must be extremely well-tuned and printing with high accuracy for parts to fit and function as designed. Additionally, it's absolutely vital that the printer does not miss steps during operation. Failure to do so may result in subsequent tool changes being ruined, potentially causing damage or even worse, catastrophic failures. I'd like to extend a special thank you to Rajaa, whose CoreXY models I've used on my own printer - they're his design, not mine. However, the tool changer models and some modifications to the original CoreXY were done by me.
