FSX Autopilot
thingiverse
Here's an updated autopilot unit specifically designed for use with FSX and Prepar3D. The autopilot harnesses the capabilities of Link2FS, a sophisticated software available at http://www.jimspage.co.nz/Link2fs_Multi.htm , which provides seamless integration with the flight simulator environment. The project heavily relies on rotary encoder functionality made possible by an exceptional library available at http://www.buxtronix.net/2011/10/rotary-encoders-done-properly.html, allowing for intuitive and precise user input. A bespoke Arduino sketch, crafted around Jim's code as the foundation, serves as the autopilot's primary control logic. Card configuration files required by Link2FS have also been provided to facilitate smooth integration of the two software platforms. These configurations are intricately tied into the Arduino sketch itself. All wiring connections are meticulously detailed within the provided Arduino script. This project is currently in development and will continue to evolve as new features and functionalities become available.
