FSR Mount
thingiverse
To attach FSR to a 240mm lateral beam on Mini Kossel (excluding those with power bricks in the base), utilize 3 each of fsr-mnt.stl and fsr-clip.stl files. These components fit a 6-1/2 diameter x 1/4 thickness Borosilicate bed purchased from McMaster.com. Additionally, Neoprene Rubber disks (not foam), measuring 10mm dia. by 1.89 thk., are required. Johann's work inspired this design. Recently, v2 files have been added to improve functionality. fsr-mnt-v2.stl has deeper counter-bores for shorter screws, while fsr-clip-v2.stl features slotted holes allowing more adjustment range. Point loading between the glass and FSR is essential for optimal performance; simply squeezing between flat glass and PLA doesn't yield significant results. Experimentation with cork disks revealed they lack proper flexibility and compression resistance, leading to the use of Neoprene Rubber disks instead.
