FS1872LAB Palatki Grotto Panel 3 Dstretch LAB
sketchfab
This is a high-priority area with intricate combinations of Archaic, Sinagua, Yavapai, and possibly Apache rock carvings and etchings. The dark "chevron" symbols could be ancient forms from the Archaic period. This model should be compared to FS1872, which uses identical input images without undergoing processing through the Dstretch algorithm in LAB mode. This model is part of an ongoing initiative to document vulnerable rock art at our Heritage Sites due to natural or vandalism-related threats. It's also being used as part of a study to identify potential early Archaic and pre-Archaic rock carvings in the Verde Valley.
