This is a small section of Palatki Grotto Panel 1, showcasing a complex array of possible Archaic pictographs and Petroglyphs with intricate superpositioning over possibly older Archaic or pre-Archaic images, later overlaid by Sinagua or Apache imagery. The same input photographs used for FS1861 have been processed using the Dstretch algorithm LBK to boost color variations in identifying types of paint and superposition. This model is part of an ongoing project to evaluate the superimposition of Archaic and younger imagery over older petroglyph scratching, with a focus on understanding the complex relationships between these various layers.
