This is a small section of Palatki Grotto Panel 9, featuring an intricate arrangement of potential Archaic pictographs and petroglyphs with complex layering over possibly older Archaic or pre-Archaic images and overlaid by later Archaic, Sinagua, Yavapai, and Apache imagery. The same input photographs used for FS1860 have been enhanced with the Dstretch algorithm LAX to bring out color variations in determining paint types and layering. This model is a part of an ongoing project evaluating the overlay of Archaic and younger imagery over older petroglyph scratches.
