This is a zone within Palatki Grotto Panel 1 showcasing a complex layering of probable Archaic, Sinagua, Yavapai, and Apache faint pictographs along with very fine scratched petroglyphs of varying age and origin. The model is part of an ongoing initiative to assess the layering of Archaic and younger imagery over older petroglyph scratching.
