This is a small portion of Palatki Grotto Panel 17 with intricate Archaic, Sinagua, Yavapai, and Apache rock art elements layered on top of each other in a complex series. The same input photographs used for FS1853 have been processed using the Dstretch algorithm LBL to highlight color variations in determining paint types and superposition. This model is part of an ongoing project evaluating Archaic imagery superimposed over younger petroglyph scratching, with older images layered beneath.
