FS1837 Palatki Grotto Panel 9a merged models
sketchfab
This is a small area of rock art panel 9 at the Grotto Alcove of the Palatki Heritage Site in the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest, northwest of Sedona, Arizona. This image shows most of the anomalous scratched snake image and associated older pictographs and petroglyphs from models FS1832-1834. The central area appears blurred due to the merging process, but clearer views can be seen in the original images. The rock art at this site is part of an ongoing project to document endangered sites and evaluate potential pre-Archaic imagery in the Verde Valley. Additional information about the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest can be found online at sedonaredrocktrails.org and fs.usda.gov/recmain/coconino/recreation. Volunteers interested in contributing to forest projects, including 3D model creation, can visit friendsoftheforestsedona.org for more information.
