This is a small area of rock art panel three at the Grotto Alcove of the Palatki Heritage Site in the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest, northwest of Sedona, Arizona. The complex section on this panel features a probable red Archaic "ghostly figure" superimposed over older scratches, suggesting that these scratches may date back to the middle Archaic period or even earlier. This particular area is part of an ongoing project aimed at documenting at-risk sites and rock art while also evaluating potential pre-Archaic imagery in the Verde Valley.
