FS1798 Palatki Panel 21 Superposition Anomaly
sketchfab
Panel 21 in the Grotto Alcove of the Palatki Heritage site sports a dark red pictograph believed to be an early Archaic masterpiece. The white snake-like lines, on the other hand, are thought to be much later additions from the Sinagua or Western Apache era. High-resolution 3D models have been meticulously crafted to determine if the white paint is superimposed over the red imagery as expected, or vice versa, which could indicate that the red paint may not be as old as initially believed. More detailed models of this area, including stretched versions, are on their way.
