This is part of a comprehensive research project to assess the effects of natural lichen growth on ancient rock art in the Coconino Forest, Central Arizona. This model and similar ones from various remote locations serve as the baseline for comparison with existing records and future photo documentation. The model represents a small section of a Sinagua petroglyph dating back approximately 800 years. 1-536 P1 This project is part of an ongoing initiative to document rock art at risk due to natural or vandalism-related issues at our Heritage Sites.
